Creating Depth with Atmospheric Perspective

Which picture shows depth better and how?
As we work on our surrealism images, I have noticed a few of you are trying to create the illusion of depth. By understanding atmospheric perspective, you will be able to create a more realistic environment.

Top Hints to remember:
1) Color Intensity desaturates with depth (takes on "sky's color")
2) Color temperature of foreground should match background
3) Texture/Details are less visible with distance
4) Size decreases with space
